Today was a great day! The saying "you are what you eat" is so true. I am sure that it's way to early to feel the effects of my dietary changes but I definitely feel something happening. Maybe it's the vitamins and Omega 3 or maybe I'm feeling so positive because I know I am headed the right way. I'm journeying down a path towards something that has eluded me for a long time and I think knowing that boosts my confidence. Even though I haven't covered a lot of ground yet......at least I'm on the path!
What I consumed today:
Throughout the evening and including dinner I drank another 24 oz of water. I added a bit of fresh lime juice to kick it up a notch and loved it. A friend who is doing the Challenge with me adds cucumber and lemon as well as lime so I may play around with some more combinations! : )

What I consumed today:
- Early morning, up at 5AM - drank a 16oz bottle of water
- 6:30 - Had my morning Spark (instead of my normal coffee with cream) and AdvoCare Catalyst (amino acids) caplets. Catalyst is supposed to aid in preserving my energy in times of caloric restriction.
- 7:15 - Gulped down my fiber drink. It was not as easy today, I have to admit. It was a bit thick because it congeals very quickly and it took me a bit longer to drink it. Tomorrow I will definitely drink it faster!
- 7:30 - Meal replacement shake (like these in the morning)
- 10:30 - Handful of almonds (about 10)
- 11:30 - 60 oz of water down
- 12:15 - Tuna salad (made with a teaspoon of mayo, salt/pepper and dill) on 2 Wasa crackers (I like the hearty ones, it gives me lots of crunch!) with a handful of baby carrots.
- 3:00 - Cup of grapes
- 4:00 - 120oz of water down!!!! (more than 1/2 my body weight in oz)
- 5:30 - Another handful of almonds (I was STARVING)
- 7:00 - Chicken breast w/ onion and broccoli steamed seasoned with a Pampered Chef Chipotle seasoning. It is amazing how little I miss cooking with oil and butter!
- 9:45 - Took my herbal cleanse
