Today was a two spark day! I had several projects at work that HAD to get done so I needed as much focus as possible. It's hard to explain the feeling you get from Spark. The only way I can think to explain Spark Energy is to tell you to imagine if you could get clean energy from a pump.......Spark is like filling up
If you're like me then you can relate to swigging down a 5-hour energy, coffee, pop/soda or just about any other so called "energy booster." Every last one of them does the same thing to me. They make me jittery and energized for a short time and during that time I have little to no focus. Then I CRASH when the sugar high wears off and I am in a worse place then when I started. That's when I'd grab another cup or bottle of empty calories or worse.....I'd dive into a high calorie snack. For some reason the stress and lack of concentration would make me crave something sweet, salty and crunchy. It became such a viscous cycle and what's worse is that I carried it home with me. When I'd get home to my husband and son I would be grumpy, frustrated and tired. Cooking dinner was more than a chore it was a punishment! Sooooo.........just like so many other families, the local pizza parlor was on speed dial! You get the picture, a bad day + lots of sugar + poor diet = a grumpy, unhealthy and unhappy me.
Nobody wants a unhappy mom and wife, right??
Thanks to the energy I get from Spark - this week I have had absolutely no coffee, no pop/soda and I have kept my hand out of the cookie jar! Now, THAT is an accomplishment! THANK YOU SPARK!!!
So here is what I consumed today:

So here is what I consumed today:
- 6:30AM - Spark! Gotta get the day started right! Remember it's like filling up with clean energy.
- 7:20AM - Fiber drink down. I changed it up and tried Advocare's Peaches and Cream flavor. It actually tasted kinda like drinking cold peaches and cream instant oatmeal. Believe it or not it wasn't bad at all!
- 7:45AM - Meal replacement shake.
- 10:15AM - Half dozen baby carrots, handful of raw almonds.
- 12:15PM - Two Wasa crackers (hearty kind) smeared with a small amount of Jiff peanut butter. I haven't found a natural peanut butter I like. I grew up on Jiff and I'm not sure I am going to change this one! 1 cup of grapes.
- 2:00PM - Handful of grapes! (I had lots of projects today and I was stressing which left me craving sweets. Grapes seemed to do the trick to satisfy that).
- 7:30PM - Waited WAY TOO LONG TO EAT and I was starving! But, I managed to stick to my diet! I took 1 small chicken breast and dredged it in dill, basil, red pepper rub and some red pepper flakes and steamed it in 1/4 cup water
